The Rilton range of Automatic AC
Voltage Stabilisers will provide a constant output to within + or - 0.5 volt of the
set voltage for input variations of +10% to -15% and for all variations of load.
All models are unaffected by frequency variations or load power factor and introduce no
waveform distortion.
The output voltage is adjustable from zero to line voltage and supplies a stabilised
output at all set points.They are suitable for single or three phase applications at all
voltages up to 415V, 50 or 60 Hz and a variety of models cater for line currents from 0.5
Amps to 156 Amps.Three Phase Stabilisers can have single
or three phase sensing.

Response time varies according to the
size of the unit but is nominally 20 V/Sec for single phase and 36 V/Sec for three phase.
All models consist of a motorised variable transformer of a suitable voltage & current
rating and an electronic control module.
A range of enclosures is available for all models and ratings of
single and three phase variable transformers.Meters and a
circuit breaker can be fitted to the enclosure as an optional extra. |
Extra facilities include an adjustable sensitivity control, remote set point control and
external PC control. They can also be used for remote sensing of voltage changes.
Constant current applications can use a Rilton Stabiliser with a suitable Current
Transformer or Shunt.
All the stabilisers are available in open form for building in or enclosed for free
standing applications.
